Fun Facts
- Coat: Thick and shaggy "hair" not fur. If not groomed tufts may come out . Soft "hair/fur" if maintained
- Color: Black & brown are most common. Parti-colored are emerging in recent litters.
- Body: The muzzle is slightly shorter than the skull.
- Height: Males: 58cm – 65cm (22-25 inches), Bitches: 53cm – 61 cm (20-24 inches)
- Weight: 30-60 pounds, Males being int he 45-60 range. Females 30-45.
- Temperament: Sociable, needs a steady training regime, and are very attached to their owner(s).
- Play: They play well with most other dogs, but love to "box" with fellow barbets.
